Weekend of spring break 3.13.22

Saturday morning Kristina, Bryce, Chase, Grant and Aden left for a spring break trip. They will be at Brian Head in southern Utah for the week. I am home with Nicole and LeLand. Saturday I made black out panels for the Jeep windows. I am planning on camping in the Jeep this weekend while as I hike in Palo Duro. The panels will help me stealth camp in the area since campgrounds are full and I do t want to get a hotel in Albuquerque for several nights. I also bought and assembled a new trailer for the landscape equipment. The trailer I have is too large for the garage but too small to hold the riding lawnmower along with all the other tools and machines. A smaller trailer can be pulled by the mower and gives me more room and an easier set up. Yesterday I took the kayak out to Lewis like lake and padded up Hickory creek to Alton bridge. Then last night I continued working out the camping set-up in the back of the Jeep. It is a fun challenge to figure out how to lay flat in a 5’10” space being 6’8” tall. I moved the seals forward as much a possible the Laid a board across the kids and folds of the cargo area. After l putting in a foam mattress I was able to get a comfortable layout. > > > >
