After Thanksgiving weekend

Friday we played football at Briarhill for a few Hours. Kristina and I spent the afternoon painting blocks of wood as Christmas decoration crafts. We watched the count of Monte Cristo as a family. Saturday we went for a morning run before a rain storm came in. When we got back we decided to set up decorations for Christmas. I cleaned the front yard from the fall leaves so we could set up lights. While I was in the yard everyone else set up the decorations inside. The rain started and set the mood for a nostalgic home with Christmas lights a fire in the fireplace and music playing. I watched a couple of football games & went shopping with Kristina. Nicole called Kristina about lunch time and said that she was leaving Christian and would be flying to Dallas Saturday night. Ian and Savannah had spent Thanksgiving with them and Friday evening Savannah shared with Nicole that she may be in an abusive relationship. Nicole has been having similar thoughts throughout the year and with the support of family she was able to leave on Saturday. We picked Nicole and Leland up from the airport at midnight and they will be staying with us for the foreseeable future. Today we went to church then took Devin and Tyler to the airport so they could get back to Provo and classes. We had a nice dinner. We moved the king bed to Bryce’s room and a twin bed in the guest room so that nicole would have more room for a desk in the bedroom. This evening went for the Linton’s for a home night. We had family council and Kristina and I started making plans for the holidays.
